About Saleduck

Saleduck is an online deal community featuring exclusive online coupon codes from merchants of various industries, spearheaded by Domingo Karsten – co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, and Ben Rogmans – co-founder and Chief Technical Officer.

Originating from humble beginnings as Bridge Marketing B.V in 2010 in Amsterdam, Domingo envisioned the concept of an online media company, registering and operating up to 30 businesses on multiple domains, amongst them, Solden.be. Popularity grew at a rapid pace, as Solden.be began amassing up to hundreds of webshops, which prompted the idea to extend their reach to other markets.

After claiming the number one spot of online coupon code websites in Belgium, Domingo and co-founder Ben realised the opportunity to expand their horizons, and Saleduck was crafted to represent his ambitions in establishing a unified global brand. Saleduck began their initial European expansion to Switzerland, Turkey, and Austria, before moving to the Scandinavian market in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.

Having enjoyed success within the European e-commerce market, Domingo and Ben identified the opportunity to venture away from Europe, and into the Asian continent. Saleduck identified the Southeast Asian region as their entry-point into foreign markets, and in 2016, established themselves in Kuala Lumpur, with their Malaysian office also acting as their regional headquarters.

Previously the Marketing Manager and subsequently General Manager of Saleduck’s European office, Rosanne Hortensius serves as the General Manager of Saleduck Asia, bringing with her her experience in the industry to further broaden the Saleduck portfolio. Within the region, Saleduck currently serves Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines, with intentions to further explore other markets.

Unlike traditional corporate structures, Saleduck emphasises on the importance of having a fluid, engaging workplace culture, with formal dress codes and rigid working hours being foregone. Multicultural both in markets engaged as well as in company personnel, Saleduck reflects their inclusivity, whilst at the same time providing the platform for consistent enhancement and showcasing of their technological expertise.

Recently nominated as one of Deloitte’s Fast50 Companies 2016 in The Netherlands, Saleduck shows no signs of slowing down, alternating between exploring new merchants and markets, and friendly ping-pong sessions at the office.
